Ostrich Festival
This annual event is recognized as one of the "Top 10 Unique Festivals in the United States", and is one of the premier festivals in the southwest, with 250,000 to 350,000 people attending the three-day celebration each spring. This event features live ostrich races and ostrich-themed activities, national and regional entertainment, carnival midway, spectacular food, upscale arts & crafts, a Saturday morning parade and much more. There's also performances of dance, music and more by dozens of local community groups. Chandler Center for the Arts
The Chandler Center for the Arts provides quality, diverse and affordable performing and visual arts programs that draw an average attendance of 282,000 each year. The Chandler Center for the Arts is the only indoor cultural venue in Chandler, and one of the only venues in the Valley that is able to provide quality programming at a highly competitive cost. They've also got an annual series of free concerts that has been enjoyed by the public since 1996. Examples of past free concerts include Burning Sky, New Traditions, San Marcos String Quartet, Nuance Jazz Trio and Sonido Global, to name just a few. The Arizona Railway Museum is a train museum that was founded and incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1983.
